Electrix RC Stadium Truck Upgrades

When we first started to carry the Electrix brand in our store we were happy to see a quality RC truck and an affordable price for those entering the hobby. Looking at the truck it becomes obvious very early on the the plastic toe links were first on the list to be uprgaded. We found the following Traxxas parts work well in the upgrade.

Traxxas #5525
Traxxas #3745
Traxxas #3644

You will have to adjust the rod ends to fit for your desired set up but I hope this parts list makes it easier on you.

HO models of the fourteen vintage streamlined PCC streetcars that initiated "F Line" service in September 1995. The F-line operation began along Market Street from the Castro district to the East Bay Terminal. The line became extremely popular, gaining as many native riders as tourists. On March 4, 2000, the line was extended to Fisherman's Wharf via the beautifully renovated Embarcadero. The "F Line" historic streetcar line is currently the most successful vintage rail line, with 20,000+ riders per day.
Our model features: New injection molded plastic body, window glass, dummy roof poles, operating headlight, accurate painting and decorating. These paint schemes are the cars running today. Powered with proven Bowser can motor drive with flywheel.

Review- Losi L8IGHT Model

Review- Losi's 1/10-scale Strike Short Course Truck

Perhaps the hottest segment of RC right now is the Short Course Truck (SCT) Spec class. There are many good reasons for this as the trucks that go head-to-head look great, handle realistically and allow just about anyone to get involved in RC racing on a level playing field at a relatively low price. The latest entry to this class is the new 1/10-scale Losi Strike and it brings a few different things to the party. The Strike features a "backwards" mounted transmission, forward motor location, aluminum threaded body shocks, brushless-ready transmission, LiPo friendly ESC and a 2.4GHz radio system to provide perhaps the most complete RTR in the SCT class to date.
I had a chance to get my hands on a pre-production Strike recently and truly got up-close and personal with it. From checking out all the chassis details, diving inside the transmission, inspecting the suspension and more, this was a rare opportunity that I planned on taking full advantage of. With a number of charged Losi LiPo batteries in my pit box and the video camera in the back of my truck I headed out for an early test session at RJD Hobbies and Raceway in Lincoln, IL.
